Mrs. Amador has been teaching strings in the Omaha Public Schools for several years. Currently, she is teaching at Catlin Arts Magnet. Previously, she was the strings teacher at Boyd, Liberty, Masters, Pinewood and Walnut Hill Elementary Schools. She is a native of Moline, Illinois but has lived in Omaha for more than 20 years. The Universities of Iowa and Michigan, as well as the University of Nebraska Omaha are her alma maters.
She has enjoyed playing violin with many orchestras including the Omaha Symphony and with the Nova String Quartet. Making music is her lifelong passion. Teaching strings gives her an exciting outlet to pass along this passion to future generations of musicians.
